Soy Clara I. LURUEÑA MIGUEL artista visual de Salamanca.
En la actualidad desarrollo mi actividad como artista visual y docente, participando en proyectos culturales y sociales, individuales y colectivos en los que aporto mi interpretación con obras cuyo soporte puede ser el dibujo, la escultura, la instalación de land-art, el mural, el diseño…
Mis temas de trabajo : el ser humano, mi identidad-mujer, relaciones personales y sociales, la naturaleza, lo doméstico, las emociones, la memoria profunda y arqueológica, lo arcaico, recordar con las manos y el cuerpo, la meditación, los hilos, las líneas, el tejido, que envuelven y desenvuelven, conectan o están desconectados, el movimiento alrededor, el oro, lo circular, lo atado, la transformación continua, etc. En definitiva entender el arte como un camino de conocimiento y expresión vital.
Mis procesos artísticos actuales (que tienen como soportes actuales, el papel, la fotografía, el muro, la performance, la instalación…), han virado hacia la ecología en varios sentidos, en los procesos y los materiales empleados, es decir, me siento cómoda en la simplicidad de los procesos y los materiales, por lo que utilizo poco color, tintas en blanco y negro, grafitos, lanas, maderas, mimbre…tratando de que el material no estorbe a la expresión del mensaje, que de un modo u otro trato de descifrar, de expresar; formatos pequeños, simples y obras efímeras en el caso de las instalaciones en la naturaleza.
Es muy importante para mi, la relación-conexión de la obra de arte y el entorno o el espacio en el que se coloca. Que la obra dialogue y enaltezca en la medida de lo posible la belleza del lugar tratando de no agredirla. Es decir, desde mi punto de vista personal trabajar como artista en un lugar supone tratar de conocer el lugar y quienes lo habitan, colocar una obra en un bosque debe conocer y respetar diferentes parámetros que hacer un mural urbano.

My name is Clara Lurueña Miguel, visual Artist from Salamanca.
At present (en la actualidad) I develop my work like visual artist and art teacher. I work as artist collaborating with persons o collectives in cultural and social projects o developing my own and personal themes.
THEMES
I work on several matters like human being, identity-woman, social relatioship, nature and our connection with it, domestic things, emotions, deep, ancestral and archaic memory, remember through handworks, the body, meditation and spirituality, fils, lines, the fabric and nature materials, the idea of surround, cover, connection; the circular movement, the gold, the tied, the continuous change, etc.
In conclusion, I understand the art like a way of knowledge and vital expression.
SUPPORTS
I use different (soporte) bases, supports, mediums…like drawings, sculpture, land art installation, mural art, ilustrations, video, photos, designs, etc…
HOW- PHYLOSOPHY
To made my artworks, my artistic process has changed to ecologic, ancient, and simple materials and process; I mean I prefer to carry out (desarrollar ideas) simple process, to use black and white or little colors, natural materials like ink, pigments, graphite, wool, wood, wicker (mimbre) or natural fibres, little formats and ephemeral artworks in lands art works. In this way I try to find a material that make connection with the idea, so material and idea can express together.
There is an important point in my artworks, it’s the respect and connection between the piece and the space where is placed, because I think for example, an sculpture, landart installation, a mural of street art, or a simple draw can change the caracteristics of a place; the art object can exalt or demote the beauty and the identity of a forest, street, architecture, etc.
